Standard Currency

The standard currency is Shards of Dalaya is the same as in live using the following four currencies: Platinum Platinum Pieces (PP), Gold Gold Pieces , Silver Silver Pieces (SP), and Copper Copper Pieces (CP). These pieces can be used to purchase goods from most NPC vendors, are used in some quests, and can be traded to other players. One difference from Live is that currency does not weigh anything in SoD. You cannot use the shared bank currency slots in your bank to transfer currency. Currency can be stored on your person or in your bank. Standard currency can be exchanged at banks at the following rates: 1 platinum for 10 gold, 1 gold for 10 silver, and 1 silver for 10 copper; see also the currency conversion table below.

Currency Conversion
Copper Silver Gold Platinum
Copper 1 N/A N/A N/A
Silver 10 1 N/A N/A
Gold 100 10 1 N/A
Platinum 1000 100 10 1

Alternate Currency

Alternate currencies can be found on your character's Alt. Currency tab in their inventory. This tab will display how much you have of each of the alternate currencies. You can select a currency in this list and hit the create button to generate a designated amount of the currency as an item (up to a stack of 60). When they are generated as an item you can store and trade them like any other item. To convert an item back into currency, select the item from the list in your Alt. Currency tab and hit the reclaim button. This will convert any of the corresponding items in your inventory to currency. Alternate currency can be used at a variety of special vendors across Dalaya. Each type of alternate currency has it's own uses and vendors separate from most normal vendors.
