Dialogue

You say, 'Hail, Defender Zarm'
Defender Zarm says, 'Hail, citizen. I'm afraid I must ask you to stay away from the water, as we've had [shark problems].'

You say, 'shark problems'
Defender Zarm says, 'A big shark seems to have moved in recently, preying on the fish drawn to the docks. The beast is quite aggressive, and a fisherman almost lost his leg the other day. I've been order to warn everyone who goes near the dock, and to attempt to contract someone to [kill the shark]'

You say, 'kill the shark'
Defender Zarm says, 'You will? Excellent. Bring me one of the shark's teeth, and I will reward you for the deed.'

You have slain a shark!
This creature is trivial to your party and offers no experience.
--You have looted a Shark's Tooth.--

< Give the Shark's Tooth to Defender Zarm >

Defender Zarm says, 'Ah! Very well done, Tempus. You have my gratitude. Here is your reward, a rare pearl from the Sea of Blood. I heard Umma over at the smithy was looking for one, as a matter of fact.'
Your faction standing with Defenders of Erudin has gotten better!
Your faction standing with Citizens of Erudin has gotten better!
Your faction standing with Temple of Divine Light has gotten better!
You gain experience!!
You receive Blood Pearl from Defender Zarm.

< Give the Blood Pearl to Umma Stonehammer >

Umma Stonehammer says, 'Oh? Who told you I was looking for a blood pearl? I see... well, you see, the reason is... let me take this from the [start].'
You receive Blood Pearl from Umma Stonehammer.

You say, 'start'
Umma Stonehammer says, 'A little while back, studying some texts in the library, I came upon an old note about a weaponsmith who lived here in Erudin -- Hanjal -- who forged what he named the "[Bloodletter]"... a powerful mace that carried the ability to inflict wounds that would not -- according to this -- heal naturally, and a person stunned on one of the mace's spikes would eventually bleed to death if not cured...'

You say, 'Bloodletter'
Umma Stonehammer says, 'The text made some mentions regarding the forging process, and the entire business made me curious. I studied into the matter, and I belive that I have managed to peice together the forging [process], except for a single part -- where a blot of ink had covered the crucial section. As you might have guessed, a blood pearl was part of the components needed.'

You say, 'process'
Umma Stonehammer says, 'I would need the [original mace], or whatever may remain of it -- undoubtedly it has lost its powers by now -- the aforementioned blood pearl, a block of what Hanjal called "twisted ore", and the original [forging scroll]. A nearly impossible task, indeed, especially for a simple merchant like myself! But, if this has piqued your intrest, and you somehow should come upon all these components, I would not mind forging the mace for you.'

You say, 'original mace'
Umma Stonehammer says, 'All that is known is that Hanjal left Erudin one day with a small expedition set on exploring the cave systems of the Erudian Isle. He and the mace have been lost since.'

You say, 'forging scroll'
Umma Stonehammer says, 'From what I heard, the forging scroll left Erudin in the hands of an adventurer who has determined to seek out the [original mace] in the depths of the goblin mines below our mountains. I belive her name was... Natasha, or something to the like.'

You need four items, Bloodletter Forging Scroll, a twisted ore, the blood pearl you already have, and the original mace.

Go to the Bancak Mines (off of the Warrens). Inside of the mines head to the right and go up to the waterfall. You can get up the waterfall by looking up at a high angle (maybe 60 degrees) and turning on autorun, you should pop up after a short bit of time. Go around the corner past the rats and you will come upon Natasha, a named skeleton, she is indifferent to you.

You say,'Hail, Natasha'
Natasha stares at [you], the witchfires in its eyes burning.
You say,'Bloodletter'
Natasha's eyes flare green as it hisses,'That cursed mace...that cursed quest...condemned by my own folly to this fate...you wish the forging scroll?' it laughs bitterly,'Very well...but in return, you will do something for me. You will slay those who murdered me...the Bancak Master and his pet spider, Tshii! You will slay them, and bring me their hearts!'

Now you must kill Tshii and Master Kalko..

Tshii is a named spider. She is a level 40 warrior with a very strong poison DoT proc. She is found deep in Bancak mines in one of the alcolves that juts out to the north on the western part of the map. Her room is the only one in the Bancak mines that has spiders. Kill her and loot Tshii's Heart.

Master Kalko is named Bancak. He is approximately level 38 and is a warrior. He spawns in the deepest part of the Bancak mines in the room in the far west that is full of water with a ledge that spawns four Bancaks or Golbin oracles. Looking at the ledge he spawns second in from the right. Loot Kalko's Heart.

Once you have both of their hearts return to Natasha and hand her Kalko's Heart and Tshii's Heart

Natasha says,'Yes... this is their hearts... and I give you the scroll...'
You gain experience!!

You receive Bloodletter Forging Scroll from Natasha

**Apparently the mace drops from a level 40-45 named enchanter mob in Ruins of First City (the Hole on Live) in a building, "near a broken pool." The mace is droppable so it can be bought.

**Apparently the twisted ore drops in the Plane of Torment, and it is droppable so it could be bought.
