Walkthrough

Find Caretaker Kolsaz (Dreadlands  at 1038, 9258, 1068  • Refuge) .

You say, 'Hail, Caretaker Kolsaz'

Caretaker Kolsaz says, 'Greetings <Player Name>. I'm a tad busy with my research at the moment, so unless it's important, I'd rather be left to it.'

You say, 'Sister Borlida has sent me to work with you again.'

Caretaker Kolsaz says, 'Ah excellent. I was hoping you'd be the one working with me again. I got two things this time that need doing. One concerning poison and one concerning the sickness at camp.'

You say, 'Poison? Whats the plan this time?'

Caretaker Kolsaz smirks. 'The short of it is that the poisoned beer went really well. Better than I could have expected. The giants presensce in the Dreadlands dropped significantly after we did that. But that is far from the deadliest poison I've ever created in my career. Imagine what havok we could unleash on the Citadel itself with a powerful enough poison... yes it would be magnificant. Thats where you come in. The creatures of the Dreadlands are like a bazaar of exotic poisons. I want you to bring back a sampling from all of them. Scorpion, spiderkin, recluse. Three of each. I'll cook up something REAL nasty with them, you mark my words.'

Note: If you had tried to not poison the beer in the preview quest you get a bit different dialog.

Caretaker Kolsaz says, 'You are going to have to just get over that. I did what I had to do, to bring us the greatest advantage I could. I have nothing against you, and as we are apparently going to have to work with each other a lot more, you are going to have to let it go. I have two tasks at hand that need to be done. One concerning poison and one concerning the sickness at camp.'

You say, 'More poison? What needs to be done this time.'

Journal Text: Kolsaz has big plans that involve bigger poisons. He wants me to return to him with venom sacks or glands from the native Scorpions, spiderkin, and recluse spiders. I need to collect three of each.

Gather and give Caretaker Kolsaz:

Caretaker Kolsaz says, 'Ah as good as last time. You really are an excellent assistant. I'll get to work on these. Trust me. This is going to be REAL nasty!'
