Find Elder Klupo (Zenn Malath  at -449, 41, 133  • Inside the monk guild) .

You say, 'Hail, Elder Klupo'
Elder Klupo says, 'Malath shine upon you, guildmate. I hope your class studies are going well. Remember that you may train under one of the anchorites if any of your skills are falling behind.'
You say, 'What's that you're looking at?'
Elder Klupo says, 'This? It is a rock garden. We guildmembers take turns tending it, rearranging the stones and patterns in the sand as a form of expression and introspection. It promotes orderliness and patience, traits the Master would see in each of his children. I must admit I've been using more than my fair share of it these days, but I shouldn't trouble you with the details. It's all part of my duties as an elder.'
You say, 'What do you mean? What part of your duties do you find troubling?'
Elder Klupo says, 'Finally, someone asks! You see, Felvyn appointed me head of community outreach. My main job is to look after youngsters who want to learn about anchorage life prior to their joining the guild. I once overheard the greengrocer next door refer to me as a glorified babysitter, and some days, that description feels about right, especially with those troublesome newcomers.'
You say, 'Troublesome newcomers?'
Elder Klupo says, 'That gang of four youngsters. Perhaps you've seen them loitering outside.'
You say, 'I've seen them. They're a colorful bunch.'
Elder Klupo says, 'Yes, that seems to be their calling card. They fancy themselves ninjas. Who ever heard of such a thing? We Monks are meditative, stoic, patient. Those kids are nothing but rambunctious. Not that the guild would turn an inquisitive, young mind away. They are still the Master's children, after all, but just yesterday they laughed all the way through my lecture on meditation because the orange one wouldn't stop burping! I don't think they absorbed a single word and all I got out of it was a mighty headache.'
You say, 'At least you can't say they lack spirit.'
Elder Klupo says, 'Aye. Speaking of which, you're younger in spirit than this old soul. Would you take those kids under your wing for a short while? A strapping Monk like you would make a fine role model for them. I could use the break to collect my sanity. What do you say?'

You say, 'I'll speak with them. Even if they're rough around the edges, an interest in monkhood is a healthy thing.'
Elder Klupo says, 'I couldn't agree more, Cyclog. Off you go, then. Return when you've gotten to know the kids a little more. I look forward to a second opinion on their potential.'
