Walkthrough

Find Gravedigger Gumdor (Forest of the Fallen  at -100, -700  • East of the Giant Fort) .

You say, 'Hail, Gravedigger Gumdor'

Gravedigger Gumdor glowers at you and whispers, 'Shhhhh!!!'

You say, '*whisper* Why? What's going on?'

The fallen have risen from the dead and are haunting the cemetery. I cannot bury these poor slain soldiers with the spirits wandering the grounds. I knew I shouldn't have...Gravedigger Gumdor mumbles quietly to himself.

You say, 'Shouldn't have done what Gravedigger Gumdor?'

Gravedigger Gumdor chuckles timidly, 'I shouldn't have played with things I don't understand.'

You say, 'What do you mean?'

Gravedigger Gumdor looks at you with worry. 'If I tell you, you will tell the others and get me into trouble. I don't want to fight in Kaezul's army!'

You say, 'Calm down. Maybe I can help you with this problem.'

 [sic]Really?

You say, 'Yes, now tell me.'

Gravedigger Gumdor takes a deep breath, 'My brother is Muspel Shaper and Scribe of the Sworn Kromtor. He is always studying tomes and writings of other races and cultures. I was snooping around the other day and I found a book about death magic.'

You say, 'Go on.'

 [sic]I took the book and began reading it. I thought it made sense for me to know death magic since I am the gravedigger for the tribe. Inside of the book was a spell that rises the fallen back to life! I thought I should use it so we would have better numbers against the Yiv. But...

You say, 'But something went wrong.'

Gravedigger Gumdor nods, 'Yes. Something went very wrong. I cast the spell and the ground rumbled beneath me. Bones began coming out of the ground. Every fallen Kromtor in the cemetery had risen but they weren't alive. Not alive, not dead, and they seem oblivious to me.

You say, 'I am willing to help.'

 [sic]Thank you Go explore the area and see if you can find anything.

Journal Text: With Gumdor`s guidance, I should go exploring for any spirits.

Note: Kill A malicious spirit and loot their Spectral Serenity then turn them into a restless corpse. Once you have done this 40 times a named will spawn you must kill.
