Walkthrough

Find Victoria Cromwell (Valley of Erimal  at 980, 846, -65  • Inn - second floor.) .

You say, 'Hail, Victoria Cromwell'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Hello there, <Player Name>. I am Victoria Cromwell, just a humble scholar of the elemental spirits. How may I help you?'
You say, 'You study the elemental spirits?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Some may call them gods or deities but calling them elemental spirits carries much more truth. I am an expert in all four kinds of elemental spirits as well as their history.'
You say, 'Why have you come to Erimal if you are not a Seeker?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'I was invited here to expand and translate some of the scripts in their library. I must say that it is quite an impressive institution. I must pardon myself, <Player Name>. I was just getting ready to take a nap when you decided to stop by.'
You say, 'I found this journal while exploring the Tower of Tarhyl. Can you shed some light on it?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Something from the Tower of Tarhyl?! I would be delighted to take a look!'

Gather and give Victoria Cromwell:

  • An Old Journal
Victoria Cromwell Victoria pages through the journal, 'This is spectacular! I have read many of Historian Ayozal's works as well as accounts of his mysterious disappearance. May I keep this to study? I will return it when done.'

You gain 2,000 experience!!

You say, 'You can keep it for study.'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Thank you! This is the most exciting find I have been able to get my hands on in years. Now what is it you wanted to know about the script?'
You say, 'It mentions a "Rift"?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Ahh yes... the fabled rift. It is said that at the beginning of the Great War Tarhyl opened a great rift from his tower to the core of Dalaya itself. He used this rift, also called The Eternal Well, to sap raw energy from the core of our planet to aid himself in the war against Sihala, Shojar and Shiritri.'
You say, 'Tell me more of the The Eternal Well'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'After the Great War Tarhyl banished the worst of the rebel fire spirits into the well and sealed it. To this day the Farhags stand over the well sapping power for the Flame Lord while keeping the chaotic fire spirits imprisoned within.'
You say, 'Tell me about the weapons it mentions.'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Each tribal leader was given a weapon crafted from The Eternal Wells immense power by the Flamelord. With these powerful tools the tribes were almost unstoppable in battle allowing Tarhyl to war against his three elemental counterparts without the need to ally himself with one or the other. After the peace was brokered though, this was no longer good news for the Flamelord. He had just seen both Sivyana and Enthann betray him outright and was not about to leave such great power in the hands of his now suspect followers.'
You say, 'So? What did he do with the weapons?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Well he destroyed them of course. Sapped them of The Wells power and broke them each into three. What happened to the three pieces of each weapon I do not know.'
You say, 'I have found one of the weapon pieces.'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'You have found a fragment of one of the original tribal weapons?! I... I remember reading a paper once about the possibility of reforming them if all the parts were found... but I never truly thought it possible.'
You say, 'How would I go about reforming the weapons?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'It takes a smith of super human skill to reform such mighty artifacts. Ironically enough the seekers are in possession of one of the last remaining wyrmkin forge golems. He should be able to put the pieces back together should you find all three. Unfortunately this will not get you the result you wish...'
You say, 'What do you mean?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Well even when the weapon is whole once more it is still unusable. The power that once coursed through each weapon was sapped by Tarhyl and placed back into the Well. You would have to take the combined weapon back to the well and reimbue it which would involve getting past its Farhags guardians.'
You say, 'I will worry about that later. What do I do to put the weapon back together?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'Go to the forger golem when you have all three parts. Return to me with the combined artifact and I will tell you more of how to reimbue it.'

Your journal has been updated. [Reforging the Weapons]

Journal Text: You have learned of a way to reforge the ancient tribal weapons from the Tower of Tarhyl. You need to gather all three components of the weapons and speak to the forger golem in Erimal

Find A Forger Golem (Valley of Erimal  at 942, 441, -120  • Guard barracks.) .

You say, 'Hail, a Forger Golem'
a Forger Golem pauses briefly in its work to look at you. With a nod of its head it indicates a stockpile of forging supplies for sale, awaiting further indication from you.
You say, 'I would like to place a specific order.'
a Forger Golem looks at you blankly, awaiting further instructions..
You say, 'I need you to reforge an ancient Tarhylian weapon. I have its three original components.'
a Forger Golem nods before walking to its table. After writing down what components he needs he hands you the pad of paper.
The note reads: 1 Piece of Living Stone, 1 Piece of Eternal Stone. Give these first together as payment and then give all three components of the weapon.

Your journal has been updated. [Reforging the Weapons]

Journal Text: You must bring the forger golem: 1 Piece of Eternal Stone, 1 Piece of Living Stone and all three weapon components. You must give him both pieces of stone first.
Note: A Forger Golem will ask for a set of these 2 stones for each weapon it reforges.

Gather and give A Forger Golem:

  • A Segment of Eternal Stone
  • A Segment of Living Stone
a Forger Golem nods to you to indicate payment received and points to your pack as if to ask if you have gathered all the components for your order.

Your journal has been updated. [Reforging the Weapons]

Journal Text: You have payed the golem what he asked for. He is ready to receive the three collected components.

Gather and give A Forger Golem:

  • The three unique pieces of the desired weapon
Note: For example, to make the unfinished Mindfire, "Ancient Broken Focus", give A Forger Golem these three items: Ancient Broken Focus Handle, Ancient Broken Focus Shard, Ancient Broken Focus Fragment.

Return your unimbued weapon to Victoria Cromwell

Victoria Cromwell says,'This is spectacular! I never would have thought I would see something like this with my own two eyes...'
You say, 'How do I go about imbuing it?
Victoria Cromwell says, 'The imbuing process is fairly simple. You need to find something able to channel the raw power of the well into the weapon. After obtaining this hold it and the unimbued weapon over the well and allow it to fill itself with the needed power.'

Your journal has been updated. [Reforging the weapons]

You say, 'What kind of item would be able to channel the power?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'I am unsure on that. I would look for a shard or crystal from something made for channeling planar power. It would be of extreme value so you might want to check aroudn the most powerful entities in the area... I am truly unsure. If you think you have found it you might be able to identify it by magical means.'

Gather a Planar Channeling Crystal and return it to Victoria Cromwell

Victoria Cromwell says, 'This is exactly what you need to imbue the waepon, <Player Name>. Now you just need to imbue it at the well.

Your journal has been updated. [Reforging the Weapons]

You say, 'Where is the well?'
Victoria Cromwell says, 'The Eternal Well is kept by the Farhag tribe of Tower of Tarhyl. It is kept sealed by their Elder Council and their leader Chieftain Farhanniath. You will need to destroy both the council and Farhanniath to unseal The Well.'

Go to Tower of Tarhyl and kill High Chieftain Farhanniath. Four NPCs named The Eternal Well should spawn when he dies, every time he dies. You must also have the High Chieftain Farhanniath flag which you get by hailing the Burning Spirit that spawns on the death of High Chieftain Farhanniath. Give both the unimbued weapon and Planar Channeling Crystal to one of them to get the finished version of that weapon. Your Planar Channeling Crystal will be returned to you in case you want to make more than one weapon.

Note: The NPCs named The Eternal Well may be hard to see without spell effects turned on. They look like constant waves of fire.
