Emkedo Tarillingord says, 'It was, until recently! One of my collegues in Newport, Torgilin Darkheart, found plans on how to construct a device that allows one to locate this "Transportation Matrix", or at least he claimed so. He wrote me a letter that he would come and visit me, cause some of the pieces for it seem to be from the vincinity. That was three weeks ago, but he never showed up. Now I'm worried what happened to him. Would you mind to look out for him?'

Apparently he figured out where the Ruins of old Oggok are located, and, even better, he found a way to locate the "Transportation Matrix" with a special Compass. While I have not yet deciphered where exatly old Oggok is, I have this list of things needed for the compass for you - and no, I'm not quite sure what he means with these things...'

Journal Text: I got a Compass that I was told will somehow react to this Transportation Matrix, and I have a rough area to start the search. This can't be that hard, can it?

Note: At this point, you must handle mobs that spawn with the same difficulty as a moderate map. After each wave, hand the dig site the compass to dig again. Instead of a chest at the end, a boss monster will spawn. The boss is *much* more difficult than the other mobs.
Kill Guardian of the Matrix (Greenmist Jungle •) .
