Find Davad Tyaduesti (Greenmist Jungle  at -594, 2844  • The pillar structure along the west wall) in Greenmist Jungle.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Hmm... interesting... really interesting. I think with the right ingredients I could increase the power of the emblem tremendously. What do you think, could you go looking for them?'
You say, 'Sure, I guess. What needs to be done?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'You need to find a little trinket of sorts from each of the false gods. It needs to be something fitting, something specific, for each of them. Let's start with the spirits of earth and water, shall we?'

Note: These can be completed in any order, and many can be acquired before receiving the quest.

Earth Spirits

You say, 'Who are the earth spirits, and what do we need off them?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Sihala, self-proclaimed goddess of earth. Jayla, known as the goddess of lore. I think you met her minions already. Gradalsh, the scourage of Dalaya, lord of death and decay.'

Sihala

You say, 'What do we need from Sihala?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Sihala is a goddess that cares for her servants and cares for them a lot. It isn't unknown that she awards her favorites with certain special salves. Kill her beloved servants and bring me one of those salves. That should be enough to make her leave you alone.'

Gather a Salve of Sihala and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Most excellent. This will go a long way toward making Sihala think twice.'

You have completed a quest. [Big Game Hunting]

Jayla

You say, 'What do we need from Jayla?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'We already have one of Jayla's prized possessions, the book from which we got the knowledge for this. That should be enough.'

Gradalsh

You say, 'What do we need from Gradalsh?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Gradalsh is the god of death and decay, yet he has mortal minions. Given his very nature, killing his minions will mean little to him. Procuring parts of them without their notice, however, might make him think twice. Not really a safe job for you? Maybe you know someone better for this kind of work?'

Gather a Swarmborn Pineal Gland and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Great! It should take Gradalsh a few to grasp the concept of mercy towards his minions.'

You have completed a quest. [Lessons in Nonlethal Combat]

When complete with all 3 quests, Davad will tell you, '... and for all it counts, I think we are done with those earth spirits.'

Water Spirits

You say, 'Who are the water spirits, and what do we need off them?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Shojar, who claims to be the god of ice and winter. Tarhansar, lord of everything below the waves. Althuna, known as the Healing Hand.'

Shojar

You say, 'What do we need from Shojar?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, Davad Tyaduesti says, 'The best way to make the Schemer pause his actions is by doing the unexpected. The most unexpected thing for Shojar would be a mortal entering his realm not on the hunt for treasure. Instead of going to plunder his vaults, go to Azmaen and return with some of Shojar's precious blue ice. Considering how carefully he thinks things through usually, that alone should make him stop pursuing you for a decade or so.'

Gather a Blue Ice of Shojar and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Wonderful. This should stop the Schemer right in his tracks... at least for some time.'

You have completed a quest. [Gone for Ice...]

Tarhansar

You say, 'What do we need from Tarhansar?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'The God of Fish and healing. What a joke. Fishmen with healing salves. Ridiculous! Bring me one of those salves. Oh, and while you are at it, mind bringing me one of their Headfins as well? I'm sure they will make a fancy hat!'

Gather a Salve of Tarhansar and Tasdrakh Head Fin and return them.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Fish oil, kinda, and material for a fancy new hat. Most excelent work!'

You have completed a quest. [Fishmans Friend]

Althuna

You say, 'What do we need from Althuna?'

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Althuna, the Healing Hand. Althuna, the Goddess of Mercy. Just reading about her almost got me sick. Anyways, killing her worshipers will not work - in her mercy, she will forgive you. Plundering her realm will not work either - in her mercy, she will forgive you. Cruelity, treason, arson, murder, theft - she will forgive you! The only option I see is to locate the very Essence of Mercy somewhere in her realm, and make it disappear from there.'

Gather an Essence of Mercy and return it.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Mercy contained in a bottle and obtained in an unlawful way. You almost start to impress me.'

You have completed a quest. [The Essence of Mercy is ... What?]

When complete with all 3 quests, Davad will tell you, '... and for all it counts, I think we are done with those water spirits.'

Aug Upgrade

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Actually, we are done with both the earth spirits and water spirits. You should hand me the emblem so that I can further reinforce it.'

Hand him your Emblem of the Faithless.

Davad Tyaduesti says, 'Here, take this. Infused with new powers, it's stronger then ever before!'

You receive Emblem of the Heretic.
