Tarutao changes

There are a number of things that need addressing on the Tier List at this point.

City of Mercy -- Everything needs to be added. Temple of Elael -- The two known encounters need to be added with tentative tiering.

Prophet's Landing -- Memories of the Old Empire -- Is Tier 6 appropriate? A little harder thatn The Lurk, so I think so.

Prophet's Landing -- a walking mushroom -- Moved from Tier 3 to Tier 4... I would have put it at Tier 5 from my experience with the encounter, but I haven't done it with a fully on-tier raid to really know for sure.

Grobb Undercity -- After talking with people in Novus Ordinatum, I put Welcoming Committee at Tier 8 and the rest at Tier 9, and I left the Barrel Encounter untiered after talking with the Dev team. Additional input about non-barrel encounters welcomed.

Tears of Elael -- Input needed about Mist Stalker and steel-skinned arenodon. I haven't done them, so I don't know.

Tur`Ruj -- All 10 tribes need to be added with tentative tiering -- I'll work on that (probably mostly Tier 12, with Tar`Loc at Tier 11 and maybe Shar`Nok and Rujik at Tier 13, not sure yet)

Prison of Admyrrza -- Post-Custodian encounter needs to be named and tiered (probably Tier 14) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Tarutao2 (talk).

CoM is the impossible dream, ok. As far as i can tell, the people who add things don't do it and the people who do it won't add it. - Rari Talk 14:44, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Grobb Undercity - Slagar of Novus Ordinatum comments

I was looking at the grobb undercity tiers, and I think I will have to respectfully disagree with my fellow Novus-ites on Leech Lord and Primalist being tier 9. While both are more difficult than Welcoming Committee, they are not more difficult to a great degree, and arguably belong in tier 8, not tier 9. The loot they drop is likewise pretty much tier 8 quality, in line with their difficulty. There have been plenty of times when loot from these two have gone as side-grades or resist gear or just plain rots for Novus members, which happens very rarely (or not at all) with other tier 9 encounters. While Leech Lord and Primalist require you to execute somewhat complex strats, they aren't really heavy-duty gear checks, and could almost certainly be done by competent guilds that are just breaking in to lower thaz, &c.

The main point I would make about this is that there is a clear distinction between Ganlak/Serizus and the rest of the zone. Unless I am mistaken, you have to have some (or all?) of the in-zone quest done in order to get to Ganlak, and you obviously need to have the quest finished to get to Serizus. Unless there are some kind of strats that we have not figured out yet (and we have beaten both encounters), they really require a plain-old strong raid force to power through the last phases of both fights. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Slagar (talk).

Serzius is a rough fight. I'd say he's a high t9, or maybe even a low 10 (Thaz1 is considered a 10 and it's an easier fight IMO). --Ocau 16:24, 6 December 2011 (EST)

Corrections

Think it should look more like this based on fight difficultly.

Tower
Archfiend, High warden, and Djar wing should all be T7, from Talon+ Bloodfire T8, Mephar, Farhags, Well T9.

Yclist

Prime Enchanter is T11 - This fight requires a steep gear check(tomes/charms) and is also a major strat check
Prison
Sanctum Trash and Drakes should be listed as T10 - Trash drops upgrades for guilds just starting sanctum as the "tiers list" currently stands, and could be done by a guild who has done Thaz 1 and 2 or Gens without an issue, Drakes is a strat check and not a huge gear check at all, Could be done by a guild thats just breaking T10 without much issue beyond following the strat.
CoM
Herga, Guard Captain T4
Uriton the Damned T5
Eisa of the Rose T5
Judge Rouf Stoutmane T5
Tidemistress Geiu, 2 versions of this mob Exist, Tidemisteress 1.0 and 2.0, 1.0 is a T5 fight with a decent strat check id put 2.0 at a mild T4 more like a mini in this zone.
Duke Thanes the Righteous, Is a hard one to determine, I would say tho if everything went perfectly a T6 guild that just killed BYW could kill this guy.

PoE and Misery additions?

Zapple recently updated a large group of PoE and Misery mobs with proposed raid tiers, so I created a page in my userspace to aggregate all NPCs marked with raid tiers that are not listed on the Raid Tiers page. Any loot listed from these NPCs is listed in the tier loot chart, so these need to be resolved. I'm including the list from my userspace here - it is dynamically created based on NPC/Raid Tier content and should not be manually edited. Tidemistress is listed as an event right now, with Tidemistress 1 and 2 listed as parts of the event. I haven't killed Tidemistress in over 2 years - if she shouldn't be listed as an event (ie, doesn't share loot between the two) then the event page needs to be deleted and the event parameter removed from the two. Raid tiers listed on NPCs but not on the Raid Tiers page may be highly inaccurate and might need to be changed/discussed - Rari Talk 23:45, 10 October 2011 (EDT)

(list gone)

To clarify, the list of mobs I personally either suggested a tier for or suggest a tier change for are...
(Plane of Earth) Prime Sentinel Kergath, Tree Keeper Rosretal, a gargantuan phantasm, Veteran Klindra, Aiwen the Old, The River Keeper, Melokh'Tanin, Sister Sonderlia
(Plane of Entropy) Ythla'Shk‎, Anuek Avatar of Entropy, Balagan, Zercutz the Adulterant, Gurdsh the Crucible, Blackfin, The Swarmborn Queen
(Sepulcher of Darkness) Fasal Janir and Vadra Janir (a single encounter commonly referred to as "the couple")
(Fire Grotto) Ganzese the Mercenary
All others were not suggested by me. Zapple 01:21, 11 October 2011 (EDT)
Right, these were not all from Zapple. That said, they all do need to be considered. - Rari Talk 01:30, 11 October 2011 (EDT)

6-man encounters

Yesterday, Ocau edited in a raid tier for The Mountain King, one of the 6-man raid encounters in Emberflow. I decided to add tiers the rest of the ones I've personally done in that zone. I think it's useful and valid to add these for 6-man content because as with the 18 player raid tier list "The purpose of this organizing encounters in raid tiers is to give players a reasonable estimation of the difficulty of the encounter" would still be true; for the most part the high end 6-man content in general is not "self-contained" in that you need to be geared to a certain raid tier from 18-man raids to be able to do them. (Edit: Forgot to sign) Zapple 03:21, 2 December 2011 (EST)

I don't really care one way or another. In general though, the raid tiers have been reserved for full-raid content, so I just hope that people don't find this confusing. That said, the only thing I really care about is that the zones are listed properly on the page - I took care of it for the ones that were added yesterday. - Rari Talk 08:18, 2 December 2011 (EST)
I think it's a good idea if we want to move the 6/12 man stuff to a different page. Also I'll start using these talk pages more so I don't ruffle people's feathers! --Ocau 16:17, 6 December 2011 (EST)
I made an attempt to make it more accurate, and I added the missing 6 mans. I don't claim to be the voice of reason or to know what the difficulty intent for each fight was, but I have certainly beaten them all, and this is my best guess. (MK I cannot edit) Em0t3p 18:10, 6 December 2011 (EST)
Thanks, folks. Good work on this. --Ocau 01:26, 7 December 2011 (EST)

Dynamic list of NPCs which want to be added to Raid Tiers (but should they be?)

These NPCs have raid tiers listed but aren't listed on the raid tiers page:
