Walkthrough
Find Spirit Talker Grekal (Grobb at 302, -444 •) or Seer Ssestori.
You say, 'Hail, Spirit Talker Grekal'
Spirit Talker Grekal says, 'Hello <Player Name>, I had a vision of your coming. Have you come seeking your fate on the path of the Shaman?'
You say, 'I seek my fate.'
Spirit Talker Grekal says, 'Good, very good <Player Name>, your fate seeks you as well. The spirits see the unrefined glint of possibility in you, so my peers have sent you to learn the ways of the the Blackscale Witchdoctors'
You say, 'Witchdoctors?'
Spirit Talker Grekal says, 'Doctor's we are in deed, we tend to the physical and spiritual health of our peoples, we don't follow the superficial ceremony of the Clergy and say we care for the needy while we line our collection plates with gold though, the spirits have no need of pontiffs in fine robes and gleaming armor.'
You say, 'What spirits do you speak of?'
Spirit Talker Grekal says, 'Surely you can hear them, even if you don't realize it yet <Player Name>. The spirits of Dalaya are within us and without, the spirits of the earthmother and skyfather, of the trees and beasts, of the very swamp Iksar and Troll both make their homes in. You shall commune with the spirits, as you learn to listen you will understand what they are telling you.'
You say, 'I will listen to them.'
Spirit Talker Grekal says, 'One of our youngest wardens was injured on patrol in the swamp recently and is now deathly ill. While the warriors of Grobb are courageous and strong of body they don't notice the spirits, they fail to listen to their warnings or their aid. As a Shaman of the Blackscale it is your job to be their voice and use their knowledge to help those who do not hear themselves. Take this medicine pouch into the Stinger's Bog and collect the components for a healing poultice the swamp provides to us. The algae rich mud the Froglok young are hatched in reduces swelling in wounds and aids the body's regeneration, two handfuls should be enough. One piece of fungus flesh from the mushroom creatures will help fight off the infection while a leech sucker draws it out. Mix it all together well and apply it to a bandage, return quickly and dress Warden Bugog's wounds. Return with the medicine bag and proof that you have accomplished your task.'
