Rivervale was once the main home of the Halflings. In 69 BF, Baldakos the Betrayer wiped out the town's population with the same magical weapon he used on Nagthilian. As a result, Rivervale, and the neighboring Whisperling Forest, are completely deserted during the daytime hours. But at night, it becomes an even creepier place... with a Scarecrow who is very protective of his 'crops'. "So pretty lights, So pretty"

Unlike most towns, the townsfolk wake up at 8pm and go to sleep at 6am.

Warning: Picking up the crops in the Scarecrow's Field makes him quite unhappy. Having his crops in your inventory makes him KOS from anywhere in the zone.
