The Mistwoods, which lie south of Erudin, serve as the hunting area for new Erudites. A river runs throughout the western side of this area, across which the Shrouded Isle lies. A stream runs west to east across the middle of the woods. The monsters on the southern side of the stream are stronger than those on the northern side.

Notable hostiles in this area include kobold camps scattered throughout the woods, as well as a troupe of bandits residing immediately west of Erudin, in an abandoned hut. Evil creatures should also beware of Thornstub, a static treant found on the northern side of the river, and numerous wandering Treant's to the south.
