Master Observer Gnell's quest

Master Observer Gnell sends you to find his missing assistant, Apprentice Falco, and the glasses he was originally sent to fetch.

Apprentice Falco is lying unconscious in an orc camp in Steamfont Mountains. After defeating the orcs that captured Apprentice Falco, retrieve Gnell's Glasses from the extra brutish (and appropriately named) Grugnir the Brute before returning to Master Observer Gnell to be rewarded.

Find Master Observer Gnell (Steamfont Mountains  at -1788, 665, -107  •)

You say, 'Hail, Master Observer Gnell'

Master Observer Gnell says, 'Hrm. Where is that blooded Falco? Youth these days...'

You say, 'I said hello!'

Master Observer Gnell says, 'Yikes! Don't creep up on people like that. Falco, my other apprentice. I left my glasses at the other observatory, and he was supposed to go and fetch them... but he's been gone hours now! Bah... probably taking a nap somewhere. If you find him, tell him to hurry up!'

Find Apprentice Falco (Steamfont Mountains  at 1745, 1204, -110  • Northern most orc camp) . Defeating the surrounding orcs, and then wake Apprentice Falco.

You say, 'Hail, Apprentice Falco'

Apprentice Falco says, 'Urrgh... my head. Oh... thank you, stranger, for saving me from these orcs. I was heading to fetch my master's glasses when a [big orc] knocked me over the head and took the glasses. I don't know what the other orcs were planning to do with me, but it probably wasn't good...'

You say, 'A big orc, huh? Let me at him'

Apprentice Falco says, 'Yeah... real brute. He's probably still around here somewhere, but I'm not gonna stay around this place one moment longer!'

Kill Grugnir the Brute (Steamfont Mountains  at 1736, 924, -106  • Next to tree East of orc camp) .

Loot Gnell's Glasses and return them to Master Observer Gnell.

Master Observer Gnell says, 'My glasses! I bet Falco made you run with them, eh? That lazy sod... I'll give you something for your troubles. Here.'

You receive Gnomish Tinkered Focuser from Master Observer Gnell.

You gain 2500 experience!!

Note: Immediately after completing the quest, Apprentice Falco does not respawn and cannot be respawned by talking to Master Observer Gnell. He seems to be on a seperate timer of at least one game day.
