Walkthrough

Find Apprentice Bethany (Surefall Glade  at -300, -245, 3  • Exiting the druid spell vendor building, she is straight ahead.)

You say, 'Hail, Apprentice Bethany'

Apprentice Bethany says, 'Hello <Player Name>. I don't believe I have seen you around before, are you new here?'

You say, 'Yes. I've just begun to seek exciting adventures!'

Apprentice Bethany looks at you with excitement, 'that's great <Player Name>, we're always looking for new druids to bring a good name to the Glade.'

You say, 'Yes. This is my first time here'

Apprentice Bethany says, 'Well, allow me to be the first to welcome you to the Glade.'

You say, 'No. I've been here before.'

Apprentice Bethany says, 'I am glad you have returned, perhaps I could recruit you to help with problems here in the Glade?'

You say, 'The Glade?'

Apprentice Bethany nods, 'yes, this is Surefall Glade, safe haven and training ground for druids and rangers.' pauses for a second, 'well mostly safe.'

You say, 'What do you mean? Mostly safe?'

Apprentice Bethany says, 'Well, we have an infestation of pests crawling around in the caverns of the glade, behind the waterfall. Up until just recently they haven't posed much of a problem.'

You say, 'What has happened recently?'

Apprentice Bethany sighs, 'I'm sure that all forest outposts have a similar problem with unwanted pests. Unfortunately, the ones here have been increasing in numbers and they're aggressive. They have invaded our food stores, which has made most of it inedible.

You say, 'I will help clear out the pests'

Apprentice Bethany says, 'That would be most helpful, <Player Name>. If you can clear out enough to bring me twenty of their antannae, I will reward you with something a young druid would find useful.'

Gather and give to Apprentice Bethany:

• Pest Antennae x 20

Apprentice Bethany says, 'Thank you <Player Name>, that should be enough of those. As I promised, here is your reward!'

You gain 2,500 experience!!

You receive Glade Keeper's Wristband from Apprentice Bethany.
